How To Start Lifestyle Blog in 2022

How To Start Lifestyle Blog

So, you‘ve decided to start a blog and all of your family is thrilled. Who knew? Your mom is your best friend so your dad is happy for you but you’re not looking forward to having the same good times as them anymore and they’re always busy with their lives and that’s OKAYS YOU can have time for your blog. You decide to write a couple blogs and start posting on Instagram. Now I know this may sound like an easy process but it takes time and practice. So, let's get started.

There are many ways I could put my blog down into three categories, lifestyle, food and fitness. Since most people read my books and follow me on social media then they should find me on a good niche for my blog, you can’t think about everything at once!

Your main goal is just to get your name out there because when you first start out it’s hard work just writing and hoping others find out. For example, if you blog about running or hiking then you don’t want to talk about how bad the weather was and everything else in between it’ll make your post look like your life isn’t interesting enough. Your blog will lose any real purpose if you only talk about one thing when you actually need to cover a bunch. There are plenty books out there that explain about starting a blog on Amazon and you can buy some from your library and start. I don’t recommend buying from Amazon. They have other things that interest you so much it would be difficult to keep up with all the content a blogging site needs but if you choose to do it then I highly suggest doing the research so you’ll know exactly what topic looks like best and makes the best product for you. Another way you can make money off your favorite blogs is by selling products such as ebooks or courses. If your blog has a lot of success then you can charge whatever price you want and when someone buys your book they give you royalties. Obviously, you cannot say no to being paid but if you take that first step towards earning money then it is worthwhile since that money will then fund your blog.

When we started our blog our list goals were simple, to increase traffic to our website while still making the most amount of profit possible, and to help others who love outdoor activities, food, or simply want to live healthier. However, now we do have more than 1 million visitors each month and we’ve already made over $400k in sales from online sales. Not too bad right?

The hardest part of starting a blog is getting over those last two goals. It can seem easy just writing one page with a picture of our little animals running down the street or something like that but finding your readers and making a relationship between them is harder than it seems. Most bloggers take some sort of advice from family and friends and that’s great but sometimes, even family and close friends can just have different tastes and preferences or even worse our own families just aren’t supportive of certain foods. Finding friends who enjoy certain types of food or lifestyle is also very hard to come by. In addition, you won't always get noticed by someone just yet. I remember when I started out blogging after high school, it took almost 6 months before my story actually hit the mainstream. I wish that I was lucky to find some amazing readers to open my eyes so I could see how incredible my life truly was now, I knew if I tried, I could have been successful. But when someone reads your blog they might look at it and say “wow, she’s got such a beautiful life now that she’s living it.” You want to say “no” but you don’t know why. Because it’s hard to stop yourself from thinking of everyone else. Some people love coffee and all green vegetables and some don’t. Why do some peoples body is better than yours? Is it genetic or is it something that is really made up? Do I care that my mother wants to cook in the morning or stay home at night? As humans, we all have different tastes and tastes vary greatly. Some folks take caffeine, sugar, and alcohol in order to relax. Others love ice cream, chocolate, and wine. Other folks aren't a fan of caffeine, sugar, and alcohol. The choice I had to make with my blog is to go against the grain of my body type and talk about things that I haven't thought about and see if I can talk to them and figure out that they care about my blog and my personal experiences. What I didn't realize was that in today's society where we can easily tell someone's health status or weight and that they're going to die at a young age, I'm going to be able to relate to their struggles and I can try to use that as inspiration and motivation to write that I've been saying for years. But, I learned that it doesn't matter what I write about, there is no right or wrong way to look at life. I just hope that if I share my message that it can help at least 1 person in their day to day struggle and give them hope that they can live a great life without hurting themselves. Hopefully, I'll be able to open their minds to that fact that even though they may think they are the problem, everyone else has options. That is how you can change lives without hurting people. Writing a blog about death is not easy but at the end of the day, I just hope that through my words that I can be an influence over others who need it at some point and show them that no matter what situation they may encounter I am here for them and that it is okay to give up sometimes and that I can make a different.
